I like to have a go at the First Four in the big Cups. I took nine horses, which is half the field, and hopefully should give me half a chance. My numbers were 1,2,4,5,8,10,12,16,17 for $200 and 6.6% of the dividend. The winning numbers were 4,12,7,2 for $19,603.70.

I missed the 7, Enfjaar, which was going ballistic when I walked past his stall. I like my horses to be on good behaviour. relaxed, like the other three horses.  The favourite, Cosmic Crusader, was accompanied by a pony.

The winner Kingswood was almost asleep! Enfjaar was OK later but this brief snapshot in time cost me $1,293!
